Radio Play - Multiple Plays - Can I get some play?

I remember the fumbling awkwardness of middle school. 8th grade in particular. I remember scamming, where one would get some play and maybe ask her if she wanted "to go out with me." Well Sons and Lovers and Debate Team are back in middle school getting some serious play. Mark Sovel is scamming with these guys, all up on there necks and shit. You should check both of these artists out. There info is around here somewhere.

Cosmo Speedway - Radio Play

On Monday, 91X's Loudspeaker - San Diego Local Radio, Cosmo Speedway's track "Swiss Alps Over San Diego" was played shortly after 2AM just before his cohort and often time collaborator, Wilderness Survival Guide's "Striplings" was played. This is very exciting news. Cosmo Speedway and Wilderness Survival Guide have been two of San Diego's under-the-radar pop-prodigal sons who have yet to return and take what is rightfully theirs.

Spanish Archer is seriously thinking about re-locating to San Diego because it's just a great deal hipper down there.

Not Upcoming News, just News News

This is awesome, we totally endorse it, even if it is self released without the authorization of the Archers.

Spanish Archer Upcoming News

There are a lot of new and exciting things happening in the near future, some of which we can't really even mention because of how awesome they are. But in the meantime, we've added an "Upcoming Shows" list on the side of this page, that's pretty fucking dope (like in the 8th and 9th grade sense). We'll do our best to keep the list growing and up to date--but don't get down on us if we slip up, after all, we're musicians, we're too busy chasing tail.

Mickey Dolenz - Honorary Archer

Cannonball Archer has just been made aware of the fact the Mickey Dolenz was the better Monkee by David of Sons and Lovers. Here's why:

Sons and Lovers will be demonstrating their sounds to a crowd of eager female fans holding dinner rolls to sop up the sexual juices in their panties. Spanish Archer On Air and Other News

On Sunday around Six in the evening, a friend of Spanish Archer was listening Indie 103.1 to the local act show Check One...Two. At the end of familiar sounding song he heard the voice of the DJ, Mark Sovel (AKA Mr. Shovel) announce that the song that had been playing was a Bob Dylan cover, It's All Over Now Baby Blue, performed and recorded by the Crystal Antlers. This same recording appears on the Spanish Archer One compilation. Mr. Shovel continued to explain that the track most certainly was and is available through internet sales or hand to hand distribution of the Compact Disc release of the aforementioned compilation. We were thrilled to hear about this outstandingly awesome turn of events--happy for the Antlers and happy for the Archer(s).

Spanish Archer Off Campus News

We saw The Hard To Get and The Modlins last night. Awesome. Despite the Silverlake Lounge suffering a power--half the lights were out and no AC--the music was rocking and the heads were rolling...down the street, trailing blood behind them.

Cosmo Speedway is releasing a new album soon...Evolution of the Bicycle, look for it soon at CD Baby. It's awesome.
